We have looked at a few websites and are more confused than anything. powered or unpowered, concrete pad, ensuite (Ensuite camping FFS) these are some of the terms I have come up against and was wondering who camps on a concrete pad, are these not meant for caravans??? What is an ensuite campsite, is it just a toilet or a shower too?

Any experienced campers out there want to take our hand and walk us through it?

I am a kiwi and to me camping means camping.

You take a tent, a stretcher and a sleeping bag. Maybe a small BBQ powered by gas and thats about it.

Its just not camping otherwise, its 'living in a slightly outdoor situation' lol.

Love camping - have fun!
