Camp Ovens
I am a keen camp oven cook.
Have collection of vintage Australian camp ovens, complete set of Lodge black pots from from USA and several South African Potjie Pots.
And an Ozpig!
Any other cast iron users in this forum?
Cant see any cooking/camping/BBQ section to post this in.
Maybe a Mod will advise or move this Post.

Auntie Junie Pederson has spent many decades cooking at stock camps at cattle stations all around Australia's wild Kimberley region. In this video she and her old friend Roy Wilson make one of Junie's famous Kimberley stock camp stews:

Bleeding hell ! Mate.. more people who took the time to go into this thread would have found the topic interresting than those that didnt. You cant please everyone and those that were interested are happy to see something more indepth come along
I personally am very interested in Camp Ovens as for me it's something to look forwards to in my retirement.
Plus putting it as nicely as I can, It's not the way to act when someone has a little and probably achohol enhanced erm comment. There would be no posters left if everyone took this stance.
