150k mate will buy you a very decent boat indeed. Where have you looked so far? J V Marine on Springvale Road have a great selection, in your price range I would be looking at a Whitley if you choose to buy from them. We bought a 5.5m Crownline bowrider about 3 years ago from BL Marine in Preston, in the price bracket it was the best. Crownline do make boats in your price range, they are a very good boat indeed and have a 5 year warranty on everything which I have tested successfully.

Thanks

Will look into Whitley they appear to have shower and toilet on their bigger models which is handy for the kids.

You also need to look at weight and person capacity. Kids 12 and over count as Adults in QLD. 8 capacity boat is 7-8 metres.

You also need to consider the water that you will be using it on, moorings , towing, lauching etc.
