Amazing. The extent at which the French have involved themselves in the wine industry here is a good indication. It's been the best selling wine in the UK for some time now and that is the ordinary stuff. RSA wine is excellent also as is Chilean. I would venture I drink more wine than anybody on the board so feel qualified to comment

Here - you'll fit in if you drive like a twat, wear long thick white socks with flip flops, wear furry boots and knitted hats in the summer, wear lumberjack shirts, have long goatie beards, suck on straw and play the banjo at the same time, own a dog and let it bark all day and night whilst threating the neighbours, and listen to dodgy 80's music.

We are unsociable people who like doing our own thing, we do have friends and they know what we are like we tell them to p.......off when we have had enough well at least oh does, its a joke but they do leave.
Barbies, cannot stand the ones in any country where Mums talk mum talk and Dads talk Dad talk boring boring boring, I like witty people and fortunately most of our friends are. Hence we do not extend the circle very often.
Cringe do I cringe yes I do one of my friends who just happens to be Brit but its nothing to do with that its when she lets everyone know in a loud voice about her darling son who is a specialist doctor and here equally lovely daughter who is a lawyer, I love her kids have known them for yonks but I have to disappear behind the dress rack and pretend I am alone.
So its got nothing to do with Aus English whatever nationality some people just make some of us cringe I think depending on what we are like.
I am a listener so my friends tend to be very noisy people, they need a friend to listen because they never do

That's utter pish - i've saw plenty of England car stickers around, along with loads of Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal.
..and yes, I am one of those Scots who has a St.Andrews sticker on my car, along with a Lion Rampant.
What's wrong with that? Hey, hey? People do that back home too.

- there are plenty up here
It's like emigrating to the worst council estate in Scotland and then complaining about all the tracksuits and slapper foreheads
