I would have thought places near Ipswich like Springfield Lakes plus Woodridge, Logan, Redcliffe, Springwood, Beenleigh

Re: Brisbane suburbs

Hi, Think it depends also on what you want/need to be close to etc. Fernvale just about 45 mins west of Brisbane (closer to Ipswich) has land for sale relatively cheap. Personally loved the area but too far from work for us. We're over Bayside out east and in the cheaper of the burbs here in Alexandra Hills. For us close to transport (bus and rail) and shopping as well as schools. Easy access to City when needed etc and house prices much better.

Cheers

Ginny

Most of the time there is a reason why housing in certain suburbs are cheap. It could be further away from the CBD OR it could be bogan town! Woodridge/Logan seems to be the latter or worst!

Woodridge is dire. It was when I was a kid living there for a bit and from what I understand it has not changed - DON'T DO IT...
