Default Breaking the lease on rentals

Just wondered whether anyone's had any hassle if they broke the lease early on their rental. We are just about to do it and understand that we legally can as long as we find another tenant to take over the remainder of the lease. Bit of a worry but we need a bigger house as family arriving in a couple of months

It's not completely down to you. The RE agent can readvertise and there are other places you can advertise it. There was a thread a few weeks ago with some links that may be useful. Try the Search facility and type in lease rentals.
