The Box WTH???
#1
Can anybody tell a complete NEWBIE what and how this Box thingie works?
I have opened an account, but cannot for the life of me figure this thing out. I "think" I am supposed to download some programme from somewhere???
I have read the FAQ, the forum for new users but it is really beyond me, seeds, feeds, re-seeds, snatches (
), torrents, ratios, WARNINGS, rules, now I am too scared to use the blimmin' thing!!
Can anybody please give me SIMPLE easy peasy steps in what I am supposed to be doing. Also before I start I should probably find out how much bandwidth I will be using as I am at my daughter's place and don't want to stuff it up again this month or they will chuck me out onto the street........

I am using Vuze (Azureus) but watch out because the later versions are banned - it is as easy as pie (has to be, I can do it!!!). Just enjoying the new season of Lewis and Time Team although the new season has just started here too.
With the older version of Vuze (4.2.0.8 is ok), by the way, you need to set it to not automatically update (someone with some nous will probably have that info instantly to hand, I would have to look it up).
To find your programs just go to Browse and bob's your uncle really. Edited to say - dont go for the HD versions because they are bandwidth hogs, Time Team about 400Mb and Lewis about 800Mb by the way.

I am going into unknown territory here LOL!! I am just a bit worried about using up my daughter's bandwidth but she is very interested also as if this thing works she could save $56.00 per month on Austar which she really only has for Corrie, EE and her partner watches the History/Science channels and she would like the kids not to watch soooo much American TV like The Kardashians, Teen Moms and all that rubbish!!

One big difference is you have to maintain a 80% ratio - which is difficult at times.

I have absolutely no idea of what any of you are talking about!
That said, I have managed to post, just once or twice (
) on here in the past 3 years without too many issues (other than if I wish to post a poll
), so it can't be too essential can it?
