Thanks!

Settlement is on the 5th of next month, and the owner has agreed to rent it back from us for a further 4 weeks while he gets himself sorted.

Obviously we have not been able to visit the property ourselves, but my mother (who used to be a real estate agent) has been acting on our behalf, so we know we're onto a winner.

It's in one of South Australia's northern suburbs - not far from Wendy, in fact!

Well done. Looks great. I find it a bit scary that Wendy has become one of your links but I guess it's ok

No, that's the lounge. The "bathroom" is a secluded corner of the back yard, just behind a strategically located shrub.

Your new place looks a lot better !
Well, it's a modest improvement.

Lovely house Vash. You've picked a nice one there (or should I say your Mum has )

I may rent it off you, the way things are going with our Mortgage applications I may need to find something to rent soon!!

I found it on the Net (www.realestate.com.au) and my Mum (who lives in Adelaide) checked it out for us. She's also done all the negotiation with the agent, the mortgage broker, and the conveyancer.

I spent the last 6 months looking at houses online, searching desperately for the right one.

Now, at last, I've found it.

Thanks guys! We are celebrating tonight with a Chinese takeaway and some faux champagne.

Wendy, if you do find yourself at a loose end, please let me know; I'm sure we could work something out.
