Whats crap about it?
I got one and a blackberry pearl this week. Havent actually done anything yet except charge them and put them on my desk my husband seems to be enjoying the poker though.
We got them for the free email to email and text to text capability. I regularly have to email plans and images to him and so the larger screen seemed to be a good idea.
Also the GPS seemed ok.
Like I say, havent really done anything except unpack them and put them in the "when I go back to work" pile but woudl be interested in peoples thoughts

I first registered an interest in the phone with vodafone, however they couldnt give me a release date. So then went to fones for you they said 3 weeks and "I'm going to be the first to get one" said the shop manager. I left them my details.
Anyway a week or two later I got one via the vodafone website. First impressions it looked ace. Then I switched it on.......
I found the keyboard very hard to use with the tiny letters I kept mis spelling words,
Then the battery.......full charge then flat by 1.00 pm? What's that all about?
No wi-fi facility this means you can't hook onto hotspots or wireless routers.
Signal....very poor.
Screen...very large but what's th point if you can't see because of the battery or signal.
Sound.... Very poor, like walkman speakers, no bass, tinny.
So that's basicly why it went back, I now use the more business like blackberry 9000 smart phone. Wi-fi able, push email (never miss home/work) emails, straight to phone, surround sound,HD screen (best on market imo) long battery life, full propper qwerty keyboard, brill signal, the list goes on.....(Like this post)
I passed the fones for you shop, god hope to strike me dead if this is not true....I nipped in to see how she got on with her storm, you guessed it, she sent hers back also!!!
I fell I am now qualified in blackberrys any questions feel free, yes I have written and posted this on my BB while in the canteen on site!

Oh yes loads, I could live with out wifi if I couls get a gprs signal, but nothing? They made it out to be fantastic, sadly it was a let down so I returned it within the 14 day cooling off period. Imo the BB 9000 best on market. Any way got to get back to work, chat later.

As far as I know EVERY phone provider must give you 14 days to cool off, if you don't like it simply return within 14 days hassle free.
My tariff is 45 pounds a month, some would say expensive, it depends on your use. I use mine just as much as my laptop.and the internet is almost as fast, I have unlimited email, text, and landline calls ,also plus.750 voice minutes
