Bl**dy embarrassing question
Am so embarrassed, never expected to ask a whinging question so soon where can I buy some Bisto from? there I've said it! feel a kind of relief kids want some, bloody Gravox is dire, so is Woollies own stuff, am using Maggi stuff in packets which they say is "ok" but not like Bisto! Read on here about Sooo Gravy, can't find it anywhere, well tried Woollies, Coles and Aldi, (heard they sold it?) On an old thread saw about Syd's Highland Produce, near Brissie, apparently they stock it, anyone have address for it or their number?
Cheers

Jeezus H. Christ! $7.50 for something that costs a quid on the shelf at Tesco's???
If we're ever lucky enough to make it out there, Bisto will be one thing that the kids will just have to learn to do without

Re: Bl**dy embarrassing question
I was determined to live here without anything from the UK. I stuck it out for just over two years!
I don't really do gravy, but OH does. I make enough of his chosen food to freeze portions. But in the end, even I had to admit that the local stuff just doesn't thaw and reheat well. I wouldn't let OH eat it.
Local "British" shop does Bisto granules for $7.95 (I think!) OH is worth EVERY cent!

LMAO! Okay, okay.....
Who knows what I'll be craving if I'm ever in the position to have to do without it
I take it you can get McVities Plain Chocolate Digestives there - otherwise I'm not coming!!!

Re: Bl**dy embarrassing question
in my local super market we have bisto powder in a box (which is going back to the 70's but the taste is worth it...it also has Mc Vities digestives but only milk chocolate..low fat digestives...hob nobs and chocolate hob nobs...also lots of other "pom" stuff...the reason for this is a very large UK population for a long time so the demand is there..... get together and lobby your local supermarket to stock the items......
