You and me both
Hey, brilliant thought. You go to Herts and Dorset and I'll go down to Cornwall

Same here, I'm going back for 3 weeks at end of May but can't say I'm full of enthusiasm for it.
I'd much rather be going back to Port Douglas again.

Know where you're coming from peeps.
For us it's a matter of visiting people rather than headstones.

we are going back for nearly a month, I hate carrying cash. Do you reckon we be able to use our EPTOS card in the shops over there, will they work along side our chip and pin back home.

thanks Bix mm I've still got a UK bank account but theres nowt in it! I contacted our bank here was told there will be a charge for every withdrawal/transaction or I can take foreign currency bought via the bank or travellers cheques. It just seems so odd having travellers cheques in the UK?

Same here, except I always have an aspect of the trip that I look forward to, I'm not going unless I have a very long weekend in Prague, I've never been and am looking forwards to it as the highlite of the trip. After Melbourne, I really enjoy the asthetic beauty of the Green of the UK in June.

I used my NAB Mastercard with no problem last time... 2.5 years ago ? I had intended to do the same. Have things changed ? Getting 200 quid out of the Arab bank here in Coburg, I've got a bit of cash in the UK, the rest will be on the card ..... Hopefully.

Credit and debit cards are fine to use in shops but not EFTPOS. Mind you eating out can be so much more in the UK then here that you will need your credit card!
