Hi everyone Thanks for all of your messages. Just to let you know that a very lovely lady from the passport office came in and opened up the passport office and got an Aussie passport issued for me. Apparently they have an emergency person who works on call for situations like this. Today I became an Aussie passport holder::thumbsup: A lot of stress mind you just getting all the stuff together so guys if you become a citizen try ( and I know that the dough can be a problem) and get an Aussie passport, I think that this is something they should explain when you change your status. John & Stella Hope it all goes well, we had the phone call for hubbies dad 1 year after arriving and MIL is 82 now so the call could be anytime. I am sure she will live for many years to come but you never know. Jo |

Paulines dad picked her up at glasgow airport about 8pm last night. she has her aussie passport with her. her flight went really well. she called me to let me know she was having square sausage and plain bread for brekky:mad: now what will i do for the next 2 weeks? any ideas guys?;) soapy |

Condolences to Pauline, glad you got the passport issue sorted. I know what it feels like my mum died in a car crash in Africa when we were in the uk. The dreaded phone call .
