I'm being sent to Perth for 2 years by work, know no body and could do with a few tips on getting out and about. Anyone been through the pain barrier and got tips??

Hi, when are you going? We are going to Perth at the end of October and we have no family there, only know a couple of people we met once at a BE meeting.

We've never been to Perth before but it looks beautiful.

Don't worry you will be ok. Do you like sports? If so find a club. How about living in a hostel when you arrive. I met a few Ozzies that way years ago in Perth. They lived there. Get yourself out and about. Summer is coming. Smile be happy you will be in Oz and not the UK. Good luck.
