Just about to book our meds and recieved the following info from our agent down under:
""Do remember to watch your cycle also, urine tends to pick up a speck of blood quite easily and then you will have repeated testing which is not only added and unnecessary expense it also creates a little stress and concern that there could be a problem, its just common sense to avoid these issues with good planning.""
My cycle is erratic to say the least!!!
Any other girl's had issues with this.....do I need to be concerned?
Thanks,
Caz

Just tell him/her and it should be fine. Anyway, obviously there are ways and means of stopping one whilst doing the business into a tube

Not meaning to be gross here but couldnt you use a tampon? Surely that would solve the problem?

Tut! You just don't get it guys......without meaning to be gross here neither - tampons hold blood....urine has to pass said tampon on it's way into the test tube...need I elaborate?
Thanks for the other replies, has put my mind at rest, I guess most of these Dr's have enough common sense to realise that a speck of blood showing may be attributed to your cycle.

well i went for my med less than two weeks after giving birth so there was blood in the test pot and suagr but they just omited to write it down as it was only from the birth...nice doc....so no need to worry.
It was a horrid med as they couldnt get the blood as the hspital I gave birth at had knackered my viens and they'd all collapsed so after uch trying and me volunteering to slit my wrists right there and drain the blood myself they got it out of my hand...painful but got me my visa !
