I am a firm believer that it is only positive for kids to experience other cultures. Despite some bad experiences, ie being bullied for being white, my eldest son really gained from our previous venture!

Yep, exactly.

No, I hang out with some aussie mum's from school, some other mum's from school from all over the place, and we're a fairly down to earth bunch. Fortunately we have a really nice bunch of people from all over the world in our compound and we tend to have parties here and hang out together at home - kids in the pool and adults having a few drinks.

I've not been to one brunch since I've been here and I don't have 65 fake designer handbags. No maid to push my trolley at the shops and I drive a couple of my husband's business partners older cars.
