beginning of the end?
Not too sure whether this is allowed to be posted(as it mentions another website), but it appears that there is going to be a BIG clear out of troublemakers on the PomsinPerth website- have a look at the "pomsinperth website" thread on the (i think it's) news and gossip section. The editor and moderators are fed up with certain abusers of the site, and not before time too from what i can gather. It's a shame when it comes down to it, that people ask a reasonable question only for certain elements to give out abuse or useless info.

Won't work though. They'll just re-register and they'll keep banning them and the circle continues.
IP Address lookups don't always work either because NTL, AOL and anyone who goes through a company proxy server will have the same IP Address. Plus it's easy to hide your IP Address.
Sounds like they've got their work cut out.

In defense of Nigel the editor, I have met him and he seems a nice bloke.
I am registered with the site but havent posted in a while or rarely post, purely because I feel this site suits me better for the high post turn around.
I think a few people have started trouble perhaps, others may have got dragged in. It wasnt like that when I registered.
I hope it gets sorted because I know alot of people have found the site useful.
Hopefully some of the members that have been banned will come here where they can meet their match.
But I would like to wish Nigel good luck in sorting this out.

I'm sure he is nice - too nice from the sounds of things. All the playground stuff should have been sorted months ago and I'm glad he's doing it now.
I left that forum months ago because of the stupidity on there and am surprised its taken this long to attempt to sort it out.
