Go for a large leaf Indian tea, rather than a Chinese one.

You shouldn't need to mix leaves... just leave it to steep for longer. If you are mixing with milk you may need to leave it to steep for up to 2.5 - 3 mins.

My Mum allways used Glengetti leaf tea, not sure you can get that here, Iv tryed every tea bag I can, I like my tea like my men strong and dark
I have to use 2 bags in a small cup. Iv tryed Irish breakfast tea, thats not too bad but if you leave it steep too long its not hot enough for me, I know im a fussy bugger

The best tea we could find was from Whittards.
english breakfast leaf tea.
Black Tea from Ceylon, Assam and Kenya had been the best blend we have found so far.

Here is their English Breakfast Tea: Blend of leaves from india & ceylon with a flavour, but the one you get in the bags, taste like soapy dish water.
Irish Breakfast: A blend, mostly from Assam, producing a very strong tea.
So I'm wondering if I mixed the Irish tea with English tea, I should get strong tea, but I wouldnt know what the taste is going to be like.
