The question on "our parliament" was an English rather than a British question. The Houses of Parliament, as we know them today, were rebuilt after the fire of 1834 and completed in 1870...so it was a British building...though built on the site of the original English parliament. Westminster Hall survived..and it was in this building hat Sir William Wallace was tried for "treason"..which should not have occurred because he was tried in a foreign country !
The question on divorce was under English law, so not really a British but rather an English question.
