I was happily listening to the Archers this morning before I popped out. When I returned, found that I now need a user name and password to log into BBC Radio or just get a message on the iPlayer to say that other programmes are not available.
Anyone else having problems?
I'll be well peed off if I can't get BBC radio and have to use the torrent sites for selected programmes only.

Hmmm - not good.
A user name and password are being requested by http://nmswww0.mh.bbc.co.uk. The site says: "Staging Servers"

You do not need an ipod to listen to any radio programme broadcast by the BBC you can download programmes to store on your computer in mp3 format to playback at any time, click here to go to the archers home page and an explanation of how to download mp3 files to your computer are explained on the right hand side of webpage, hope this helps....

cheers.....
and have u ever had problems accessing the ipod site as I had with realplayer?
First time it's happened but can see that the Beeb might stop international access as they have done with their TV progs. i thought that that was what they had done when i saw the user name & password box come up on screen.

Sorry I don't use Real player or i-player, I just download radio programmes from BBC website to P.C. load them onto my mp3 player and listen to the programmes in the car or at the beach. I Only use the i-player to load up and watch TV programmes when visiting Blighty....

I see that a new series of Clue is going to be made. I reckon Sephen Fry is the natural successor to Humph, but we shall have to wait and see.

Yes, London, Southampton & Newcastle. Stephen Fry, Rob Brydon & Jack Dee as hosts. They are going to have guest hosts for at least 2 series.

Does anyone know if you can listen to Radio1 in Oz? Love to listen to Chris Moyles in the morning.
