Has anyone been? Looking at the Barrington Country Retreat for Easter and just wondering if anyone has any recommendations around the area or has stayed there before?

Barrington Tops..... wasnt that a character in Austin Powers?

I haven't stayed at the Barrington Country Retreat but we have stayed in Barrington Tops at a place called Riverwood Downs. We stayed here as we wanted to take our dog and they provide pet friendly cabins. We only stayed two nights but did enjoy the "get away from it all" feeling, as right out in the country. In fact it took us around 20 minutes off the main road down a dirt track to get to the place as it's in a valley. Very beautiful scenery and the clear starry sky at night was amazing. Made a change from the beach scenery. We would definitely go again but only for a short break.

That sounds perfect - I was thinking of two nights as well and somewhere scenic and quiet. Thanks for that.
