Filling in a job application the following questions was asked
How would you describe your sense of humour.
So how would you describe yours? Bearing in mind you do not want to crash and burn at the first step in the application.
Answer mine and ask your awkward questions. Perhaps we can build up the British Expat Job Interview response dictionary

Answer - "I must have a sense of humour to apply to work at this joint"
That should work.

Say: I find a lot of things funny. Like the fact that you asked me that question!
Or... I have an intelligent sense of humour, not everyone understands it. I appreciate witty and subtle ironies...
I wish I could go back in time to an interview that I had about six weeks ago, I'd have told them to shove it - the number of witty responses I've thought of since they had the audacity to quiz me about my partner and his nationality! As if that had any bearing upon my ability to do the job!
