That takes me back

I nearly choked the first time I had a Cherry Ripe.

I fancy an Apple Sour or Fruit salad now

You'll have to put "smokies" on the list of foods available!.. what the hell are they anyway? Unless i have the name wrong? You get them along side the sausage rolls? And one of those spider drinks.. where they have an ice cream in a cup and then tip a can of fizzy drink over the top! *shudders*

I have no idea what a 'Smokie' is???? The drinks however are called Spiders and they are awesome, especially with raspberry fanta and vanilla icecream or coke and chocolate icecream, mmmmmmmm.

Hi,

I recently sent some packets of Jaffas to some of my family members in the UK - my brother seemed to like them. They are orange flavoured chocolate in a crispy shell.

Whenever I went to the Australia Shop in Covent Garden it was always

Milo (although it was banned for sale for about 12 months and you could only get Kenyan stuff - truly awful stuff)

Cherry Ripes

Caramello Koala's

Allens Strawberry & Creams and Chico's which I could never find a substitute.

These all used to cost a small fortune so whatever you send I'm sure will be gratefully received!

You could get TimTams at the local Tesco and for some reason Violet Crumbles appeared in Superdrug for awhile in a similar wrapper but called something else. Not sure they would have lasted the distance as I bought them for all my workmates who thought they were dire.
