Default Australian Open 2009

Havent seen a thread about the first Grand Slam of the year...

As i live down the road i always try to get to a few sessions. Looking forward to going tonight and Sunday night.

Would be great to see a Brit do well, for a change and outlast all the Aussies!

It is a great tournament, very accesible and well organised.

Did you know you can PLAY on the courts (except Rod Laver and Hisense) all year round? I have played on No. 3 court a couple of times...

Andy Murray is probably the best Brit player, I assume he's playing? must check out the website and see what's what. Caught a bit of Delaqua going out last night

He's through to the 2nd round - the guy he was playing retired in the second set.

He prefers to be referred to as Scots rather than British.

We're going on Saturday, can't believe how easy it is to get tickets compared to Wimbledon.

Murray is joint favorite apparently!

His main problem is not admitting he's just not good enough. He always finds something or someone else to blame for his losses.
