Unfortunate. I'm worried about our readiness for the Ashes.
It was a shame to lose Symmo, but he had it coming and he knew the rules. We don't need a Flintoff.

Fat alcies is a great tradition in test cricket. Not sure if going out in the first round or losing to Holland is the worse preparation.

Don't be so coy. You said, "I am curious as to why are you posting on the British expats website if you are an Aussie?" which is quite clearly a leading question. People of all nationalities post on this forum - the thing that unites us is not the fact that we all 'British' but the fact that we all live or intend to live or used to live, in a country other than that which we were born in.
