Only the cockroaches survive, and they will build a magnificent new empire out of the embers of humanity. One day they will find our fossilised remains. It's all true...

To be fair theres nothing whatsoever new to learn from that and its hardly 'breaking news'.

Unlike popular belief, India's nuclear weapons program has always been about China and not Pak. The Eastern border and Arunchal Pradesh in particular has ALWAYS been the fear ...and its not yet resolved. Hate to say it, but its another 'fine mess' created by Colonial Britain. Someone should dig up McMahon's body and throw it into sewage.
A few years ago, good progress was made over the issue with moderates in China working well to settle all remaining border disputes with India. Communist China's leadership then changed again and the hawks were back with more influence. Things 'hotted' up when Prime minister Singh went to Arunchal Pradesh's capital on an 'election' rally provoking great anger in China where some maps still have the region marked as Southern China.
