The UK is just as bad...We have such gems as New York (Tyneside), California (Derby).

My personal favourites are Twatt (Scotland) and Penistone (Yorkshire)

Now try explaining it in english.

I understand that everyone south of the border of QLD is called a Mexican, but it still doesn't explain your original remark:confused:

"Now you understand how big Mexico is"?

As Pauline Hanson would say..... Please explain?

JTL

Actually it's the Victorians that are referred to as "Mexicans". NSW residents are "cockroaches".

Thats right! Someone once had a thread titled Yorkies Knob here. Probably Bix, and I thought it was a joke at the time. But there really is a Yorkies Knob.

Apart from that and Iron Knob(probably a Viagra overdose) , any other famous knobs in Australia?:p

Jeez thats true too, this is opening my eyes. Mrs JTL has been looking at Woody Point. And she can't even give me grief for saying that because she really has been looking at properties on Woody Point. And I completely missed the innuendo... until now. ;)

Ha Ha :p. Must get her to look a woody point again...
