I'll be there, I think there is an early start to make up for lost overs today ... I heard Ian Healy mention 9:30 at the end of the coverage ...

Lucky bloke, enjoy!

(will you be appearing on the pitch, sitting on a Chesterfield sofa by any chance?)

Would be more civilised than most of the seats at The Gabba :)

Ta for the confirmation, I was the one waiting at Gate 4 for the slackers, I like to get to these things in plenty of time and soak up the atmosphere ... this time I have my ticket so it's all good

Cannot believe this - no Aussie wicket falls since the moment I arrive home mid aft yesterday and start watching....

C'mon Finn, keep it up.

Well, its gonna be very tough from here, but on a positive we bowled well and were a bit unlucky.

A draw seems Englands best hope right now but you just never know, either way.

England is a free market country. Professional cricket isn't government subsidised in the UK so they can do whatever they want. In Australia, on the other hand, sports are heavily subsidised, therefore, the government has power to demand sports be shown on free to air tv.
At the same time the ECB are being very short sighted, in 2005 cricket was on a huge crest of a wave after winning the Ashes for the first time in 16 years, then the ECB got greedy and took the bigger money from sky alienating many fans and potential fans.

I'm heartbroken that I only get to see 30 seconds of the match on Sky news (neither my Brother or MIL can't afford sky sports) :( Well no, they actually showed a few minutes on day 1, now it isn't getting so much time funnily enough. :D

Oh well, I get to see the last 2 matches in Australia I guess, and I have the Aus v UK T20 to look forward to in Adelaide when I get back.

You got access there to ITV4 for the highlights programme? (Just before the live action begins, about 10pm UK time I think)

Gower was talking and then suddenly shrieked.

Nass moved his chair and the leg went straight down on Gower's foot!
