The view is that this has been orchestrated by the Sudanese government for political motives.

But religion and culture are two separate things! Just because they have outward signs of following a religion, it doesn't mean they don't eat pizza, watch video's at night, or go on country walks, or shopping or any of the other things English people do!!!

Friend of mine in my old village... muslim, wears a scarf, lovely person, great kids... still follows her religion and does everything we did, though drew the line at going to the pub. Lovely marriage... totally knocked mine into a cocked hat...

I think there is a lot of fear about muslim people... and yet, I bet there's not many on here that actually know one!
Wait, I'll be hearing 'But they don't want to know us'... next...

They'd love the west to cut all ties. They're capitalising on this situation for this to happen.

One of the good things is the U.K. Muslims who've condemned the charge as completely out of proportion," said Paul Wishart, 37, a student in London.

"In the past, people have been a bit upset when different atrocities have happened and there hasn't been much voice in the U.K. Islamic population, whereas with this, they've quickly condemned it."

(Quote from that article)

Getting 'tough' on muslims hasn't really shown any progress ... looking at the reasons why we all went to war with Iraq for example... An unwinnable war... what sort of idiot would do that?

No-one has stopped you posting.

You sound like a raving fanatic. I'd love to have a sensible intelligent discussion with you, but you seem not to be able to do that without using abusive language.

Charming.

Do you have anything to contribute to this discussion or are you going to continue ranting with your 'read it in the Daily Mail therefore it must be true gvnr' twattisisms?

Yawn.
