Hi,
My family and I are planning to move to Perth Aug/Sept this year and would be very interested to hear from anyone living in the Quinns Rocks area. We have 3 kids, 3, 5, and 15. I have been in touch with Quinns Baptiste College and am hoping they might have a place for my 15 yr old. I have heard that Quinns Rocks Primary is a good school, does anyone have any personal experience of these schools? I have heard mixed reviews on Quinns Rocks, (the suburb) so, would love to hear from anyone who is actually living there at the moment, is it a nice area to bring up kids? I know that people look for different things in an area but would just like to know if it is a good area in general. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Quinns is a funny suburb ... a real mixed bag.
Old Quinns has bags full of character but comes with a 'dodgy' side. Then there's new Quinns (coastal), terribly expensive and to be frank, overpriced.
Then there's Quinns, pretty good value and a fair suburb IMHO. Both schools are excellent by the way.
Go Mindarie ... it p*shes all over Quinns.

Your right Quinns is a mixed bag,but on the whole its a good suburb. The beach at Quinns is excellent. We have friends in Quinns who have lived there for about 5 years and have loved it. We've walked back from the marina late at night and it is quiet. However I was slightly inebriated (pished).
In my opinion its a good place to live. Also it must be one of the cheapest costal suburbs in Perth.
