Anyone into Breaking Bad?

I love Bryan Cranston. He is an incredible actor but I'm still not sure how they managed to get Breaking Bad onto US screens without heavy censorship.
We did come late to the Breaking Bad party - only watched one recently and now it's been a mad dash to catch up. I think we're about half way through season 4 (car washes etc) and I think it is such a well written, well acted drama. Hal's .. er... sorry, Walt's character development from a naive, scared Chemistry teacher to the person he is now, is both completely believable and totally horrifying that a cataclysm of circumstances could bring a good man to this point.
We do make a lot of drug references when we watch Malcolm in the Middle now though.

And FWIW, I love Bryan Cranston too. He played the dentist, Tim Whatley on Seinfeld that converted to Judaism for the jokes.

Its on AMC actually. Same thing though pretty much.
And Breaking Bad is the best thing on TV at the moment. Possibly my favourite show of all time, certainly in the top 3. Its torture having to wait a week between episodes for this final season....

Breaking Bad is awesome.... intense all the way through. Only 6 more episodes left though.
What else would be in "top 3" shows of all time?
- The Wire
- Sopranos?

Apparently there was a cable outage in the US recently just before an episode of BB and there were calls to 911 to sort it out!!

The TV series that broke the mould - absolutely fantastic
Do NOT end up in a US maximum security prison!

We are about to start watching Breking Bad. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
However, I couldn't get into The Sopranos or The Wire so I hope it's not too similar to those shows.

I have to admit that I struggled to get into this show when it first started but 5 years down the track, I have just watched 4 series back to back and have now started the last.
Top TV if somewhat far fetched. I can see what all the hype is about

I haven't watched this week's yet - but I have been enjoying this season. It seems that the Cable channels are starting to develop a portfolio of much better shows than the commercials. You can see it in the way that the story isn't adapted to fit around advert breaks.
I've also just finished watching the US House of Cards - I'm not normally a fan of remakes, but this one is excellent - absolutely compelling TV.

I love it, I'm just downloading series five.
I really didn't think that the Yanks had it in them to develop such a well rounded show. Great characters, outstanding actors, a gripping and believable story line and the camera work is outstanding too.
I can see that the end of series four created quite a power vacuum......I wonder who's going to fill the vacancy
