Hasn't everyone got high cholesterol these days.
I make too much of it evidently our family does and I take Cresta to lower it, my mum has taken lipitor for years and years and years and has high cholesterol too. I don't believe its a problem, Mum is ninety and she lives alone and goes out every day so it has not done her any harm.

I have had it high for about five years, averaged between 5.5 and 6.5, much dependent on lifestyle? But 7.2, never until now. Whats worse is, today Jacko went and popped off, heart, umm, fatty acids in blood, narrowing arteries, holy bioly?
Not going to take SATS, trouble is the more exercise i do, the more hungry i feel, so eat more, feel more tired, do less exercise?
They say life begins at 40, nope, no way, if you have not got all the good stuff done and dusted by 40, the old body starts to give way, things start to really break down, do you think?

my husband had his cholesterol checked for the first time about 4 yrs ago when he turned 40. It was 10.2. He has been on medication ever since and its now around 5.5 to 6.
They think its hereditary, as he isn't overweight, doesnt smoke and exercises often.. He also tries to watch what he eats now. He also takes omega 3 and fish oils, and co enzyme 10.
