Hi there

We are flying christmas day too! From Manchester though, with Singapore airlines, 10am to Singapore for 3 nights then onto Melbourne 29th arriving 30th Dec.

Chose christmas day coz like SS said, a lot cheaper than the days either side and we thought it was a great day to start our new lives.

Anyone joining us?

Yes, wer're flying Christmas Day too from Manchester at 10.30 AM, but for our holiday to Florida.-booked this just to take our minds off the visa wait when we hopefully go to Oz next year.
Went four years ago on Christmas day too, its a hell of a lot cheaper than xmas eve and you also get your xmas dinner cooked for you- although its still in a plastic tray and with the time difference you still get there xmas day afternoon so you can still go out for an evening meal at night-Beats slaving over the cooker all day !!!

Yes we are! We're flying from Heathrow 10.00pm then to Singapore, arrival Brisbane 27th at 7.00am................can't wait! Counting the days!!!

Sitting here with a duvet cover for a curtain in the living room (and not much else!) as shipped our stuff earlier this week.....now having the lovely task of talking to various customer services departments of utilities/car insurance etc, etc to try and get the message across that we are emigrating and we want our money back before we go!!! Joy!!

Would be great to hear from anyone else who may be on this flight!
