Default Anyone bought new teeth?

Now Kevin Rudd has stimulated me I feel the need for new gnashers. Has anyone taken a "dental holiday" to Asia?

I have high cover dental but even then, it costs a bit and I quite fancy having all my old fillings out, and pretty much having my face rebuilt. It seems scary though to trust your mouth to a lesser developed country but I have read so many reports on this - anyone know of a reputable company that can arrange a decent dentist?

I probably wont end up doing this but wouldnt mind looking into it.

Have you seen this thread?

I am still in the UK but the cost of dentistry (Aus) is the one thing that scares me even more than a trip to the dentist does normally

We've all had ours done abroad.

It was so cheap, we even took our pets

The holiday link doesnt work on that other thread and I dont fancy paying 100 to get noble dentist to charge me for my teeth

I know I have the highest dental cover you can have but am sure it doesnt really pay that much any way - I love Thailand so that could be the go

Guess I shoudl go get checked out first.....

Ah, it'll put you off the dentist, that's for sure.

I think I will have something done in the UK before I come. Then I'll be in the same boat as you.

Think there have been other threads before.

Good luck,

This is what I don't get about dental cover. You can have the best cover available, yet you still end up paying? How does that work?
