G'day Kporte,
Not sure whether you are still looking for a short break somewhere, but have you thought about flying Virgin to Fiji. Politically, it may be a mess but as for any unrest there is none. We went there back In June with toddlers and would not have gone had it been unsafe.
It was also covered by Getaway the other night and I have also written a review of our stay in the Hilton which we got as a pretty cheap package with accommodation and flights. www.ozescapes.net.au
We had a great time and have booked to go back in September this year!
