I just got depressed by how many times they managed it. Was going to write more but didn't want to spoil anything. Just SO not realistic. Was an easy read for the end of a busy day though.

Yummy Mummy? Geez, those women aren't real. Slummy Mummy - that's me and my friends. Screeching up to the school at the last minute, tracky pants on, no shower (no time), then back to clear up the detritus of breakfast and have the shower. Look around the house at the mess/dirt and think 'sod it' and go out and leave it.

I ****ing hate that expression! And no, not "anyone" in their 20s can be (vomit) yummy. My neice, the single parent to 3 boys whose husband walked out when she developed a brain tumor is hardly "yummy" in her 20s. She's tired, desperately poor and physically exhausted. That to me is a special woman. Not some 40 year old who spends the day with the nanny looking after her children so she can go to the gym or have her nails done.
