Any Sport in Perth?
Used to play Cricket, Football(Sorry Soccer) 5-a-side & Golf in England. Do miss them now, - does anyone organise any of these in Perth - I am 51, so I am not talking serious stuff!

I usually play at Glen Iris - Melville Glades is a touch expensive! Was more looking to see if there was any Ex-Pats organised golf days, cricket matches or regular 5-a-side soccer. Don't see the relevence of the Bull Creek is near Canning Vale comment - I'm still moving house between the two?

I can't speak for anyone else but it is different sports than the UK for me. I used to play badminton, go to the gym and occassionally run in the UK. 10 years ago I played the odd soccer or cricket match.
Now I do scuba diving, powerboating, wakeboarding, offroading, kayaking, cycling...

Why don't you organise something then? When I wanted a meetup I organised one for expats at Kings Park...Then another and another until now I've organised 4 or 5. You want sports then post something in the meetup section and see what happens.

Re: Any Sport in Perth?
I thought thid thread was the first step to looking to organise something, just thought I'd see if there was something already. The tepid response though suggests that not only is there nothing already, but little interest in starting something. We do go kayaking and cycling, play tennis etc- all things we never did in England, but I do like a game of Soccer and Cricket.

Join a cricket club and play. I know we have a few 50+ year olds that play at my club. But that at North Beach so a bit far for you. Im sure soccer would be the same.
