We've got my mum over visiting from the UK and the weather is letting us down big time!
Anyone got any recommendations for something to do today?
Will things be open with it being Anzac Day??
Cheers guys

It's raining in Australia? WOW!
Go to your local RSL for lunch and drinks and share a little of the ANZAC spirit and history.

Perfect for rainy days! Most things will open up in the afternoon after the Anzac services are completed. Apart from an RSL club, are there any museums or art galleries near you, or wineries, or historic houses? Can you get into Sydney CBD and go to somewhere like Wildlife World, or the Aquarium?

Just relish the rain! I am sure NSW needs some! Do what we used to do stay in play monopoly or trivial pursuit....old fashioned games remind me of my childhood so I am sure your mom would appreciate a nice glass of wine and a chat I am sure she misses you like mad!

Visit a nice warm pub and have a few red wines, followed by an aged port or two. In no time at all, you'll be feeling warm and cosy and forgetting the rain.
I had a long luxurious bath this evening and enjoyed the sound of the rain- just beautiful here in rain starved Sydney!

Been raining for three or four days here now.
You were on Falls road, two roads up from us. Next time, just give us a call... Kettle's always on for you, hon.

To be honest I wasnt sure if you'd moved or not yet. I was thinking of you when we were driving through Mt Vic too. Is the move still on?
