Any Carpenters in Cairns???
Hi All,
My husband, daughter and I are going on a 3 week holiday to Cairns in October and if all goes well we will start the visa process soon after.
My OH is a qualified, experienced carpenter and I wondered if there are any chippies in Cairns who can let us know how you are getting on in terms of jobs/working hours/ pay etc. Also do you need to get a licence before you get work and how do you get it?
We also want to make the most of our holiday there, we are going armed with C.V's which I thought we should take round to employment agencies and construction sites.
Any advice would be great!!
