No problem with them being burnt, you should see my wifes cooking - the only person I know who can burn gravy
Cranky.

That depends...
If you answered yes to any of the above, then yes, you are.
- Are you smiling vaguely at everyone while wishing them a nice day and not meaning it?
- Are you walking around the shops in bare feet like a dirty b***ard?
- Are you eating beetroot with every meal?
- Do you prefer over-sugary, milky lard as your cadbury's chocolate?
- Do you mispronounce 'maroon', 'marone'?
- Have you got a mullet?
- Is "throwing a sickie" becoming a fundamental part of your working week now?
- Have you got a chip on your shoulder?
- and finally, are you becoming a touchy bugger whenever anyone dares to criticise God's own Australia?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then yes, you are.

Well i must be on my way to becoming an Aussie:
1 i love tomato suace with all my savoury pastries (pies, sausage rolls etc)
2 i love beetroot especially on my burgers
3 i call worktops, benchtops(pointed out to me the other day by my hubby)
4 i say light globe instead of lightbulb
5 i call sweets "lollies"
6 I quite often say chips instead of crisps
7 The local RSL feels like my 2nd home
8 i can be quite often found moaning about the price of petrol(18 mths ago couldn't understand what the problem was as it seemed cheap compared with the UK)
If i am becoming more Aussie what is the problem i love the Aussie way of life and that is why i have emigrated here .
Poshrice Turning Aussie and proud of it
