Wankers?

Or is it just the one who is acting on "my" behalf?

4 days to return a phonecall??????? When I needed SIMPLE information?

ie... My employer has failed to send me copies of my payslips, have they sent him copies? did I need to do anything else, chase them up, wait for him to chase them up... Sit tight....?

He is possibly the most arrogant **** I've had the mispleasure of dealing with to date....

I think it's actually one of the 'Essential Requirements' on the job description.

Sorry to hear you have a really well qualified one in the wanker category!

Makes me want to retrain and become a "nicey nursey lawyer"

May have to retrain anyway... Or at least find a different occupation... Looks like I'm off the floor for a lot longer

No they are not. I am a lawyer academically and I haven't taken one cent in respect of that profession.

I've taken it from others instead.

They used to have 'trial by ordeal', where they did things like drown you, if you survived you were guilty, if you drowned, innocent. Only problem is those with money weren't keen on being tortured.

Then, to make things better for those with money, and worse for everyone else, they invented 'trial by combat', where the biggest bastard, or the person who could afford to hire the biggest bastard, got to be declared the winner in the case, and thus innocent.

The only difference today is they got nastier; replacing the big bastard with a sword with a even bigger bastard with a wig and an even bigger bill. In the past if you were a bit tasty with a broadsword you could do your own bit of disputation. Today you need to know years of what other similar bastards have said to even play in the game.

Somehow they call this 'justice', and keep a straight face...

No they are not. Are all nurses killers like Beverley Allitt or sour faced old cows like the ward sister I had when in hospital?

Not sure whether I'm a nurse anymore....

Havent been one for 7 weeks.... Dont know that I'll be one again.....

Becoming dispondant... Been signed off for a month... After 3 days, then 1 week, then two weeks, then another two then another two.....

A month feels like being written off completely....

I tried to get a bit of casual work, but my company refused to let me as I have to prove my shoulder is better (which it isn't). So looks like I'm no longer employable, even for 3 hours a week.

I sympathise with you Eddie- it took them over a week to reply to me, and it is no fun not being able to work when you need the pennies.

Because my lawyer is paid for by my union

I could change my union... And I wouldn't be covered for an issue that already exists...

Or I can go ****ing whistle....

I dont have money to go to my "own" lawyer.... Who I could sack by voting for with my feet....

Then have a word with the Union and complain about the solicitor - they are not providing you with adequate service. Most solicitors would bend over backwards not to lose/upset a Union client.....

Not sure what the circumstances of your injury are but a lot of solicitors do "no win no fee" so you wouldn't need to pay up front.....

I was warned by the union rep that the lawyers could be "difficult" to deal with... I WILL get in touch with them on Tuesday and complain.... But if they are aware of the issue to the point where they warn members... They must be held by the short n curlies to continue to use them....

Just really didnt need him being a wanker yesterday....

Pointed out that he hadnt returned my calls.... He stated yes I have... I said when, he said, you're speaking to me now....I asked him whether he considered that returning calls four days after the first one was made was responding "in a timely manner"

****wit
