all goinf wrong!advice on areas to live
Hi there, Adelaide is not looking like it will be our home as the job market for my OH as a plasterer is not producing anything.
AM looking at the east coast. What are the positive and negative things about Brisbane, Melbourne, Victoria and Queensland? We are a family with a baby and a 9 year old. We want a quieter are but enough work for my OH. Any ideas?
Thanks, Jodie

Well I need a plasterer and I can't get one for love nor money (I'm sure they'd rather have the money though ). I'm in Adelaide
I haven't seen that many jobs advertised for plasterers, as I understand it, it is more of a 'word of mouth' thing.
Have you thought of applying to some of the major builders in the area? there's lots of houses being built and one of them may just have an opening - or at least be able to give you some idea of the work situation here. They probably won't want to know about employing you until you have a visa and at least a date that you are moving here though.
