Default ALDI wine recommendations...

Ok folks, so we're big fans of ALDI's finest bargains; love their vintage cheddar, fair trade chocolate, tinned flavour tuna (as per previous post re: Australian food) and nappies (!), but we've never succeeded with a nice drop of ALDI wine. We've tried a few, but they've all tasted rather revolting.

Can anyone recommended a tried, tested and liked, ALDI wine? Red, white, or bubbles, any will do, so long as it doesn't taste of vinegar...

They had Magner pints for 4 bucks a bottle last week.

I usually find our trolley at Aldi is full to the brim, so there usually isn't any room for us to add any alcohol. We get that on a different trip.

Still would be interesting to know if there is some decent stuff to be had there.

Aha!! Are you sure you didn't mix them up? Do you get tipsy when having fish and chips?
