I was trying to upload my Africa videos when Mr PP said to book the tickets. I reckon I shall have a bath and then come and lose myself in my Namibia videos.
So much to organise now, thank god I dont have a house to sell or kids to worry about, that must be so difficult. Have you booked your tickets Mandy? - when do you fly? I think it will be mid november before we go. Not a very good time to be heading over though because xmas will be around the corner and rentals will be in short supply. Mandy |
Re: After 19 months....
I have just phoned my OH to tell her that a person I have never met, and she has never even heard of is finally going to OZ with her man!
She has 40 diners in the restaurant, and is now not very happy! |

Re: After 19 months....
Brilliant news, we are staying in the Transit Hotel at Singapore airport to break up our flights for our little un, we are only there for 12 hours though so not worth staying anywhere else.
Woo hoo how exciting Joex |

Very sore subject at the moment, no he doesnt. But things are changing all the time for us so that too could change.
Even if he joined us later on when we have a rental. But at the moment nothing is sorted. Anyone who would like to have a 'Jesus Christ moment' of their own, please put them down so we can compare our moments together. Forced, single engine-down auto rotation in R44 from 4500ft yesterday...I well and truly shit myslef...first time I've ever had to do that when it wasn't a drill... buggery bugger... Here's another one...arriving in New York, no house, no car, no ride from airport to friends (or anyone's) house...hungry and confused... You'll be fine...it'll be like a holiday for about 10 minutes...then you'll realize that its real, and you'll be so excited you'll wet yourself... twice. (thats what I did anyway) |

I just read your post and called my other half to tell her that PP got her flight booked...she was at the checkout at the supermarket...she said (and I quote exactly...) "What?" "Who?" "Flights to where?" "Has she?" "Thats great news, who is she?" "Can I call you back in a minute?" |

Now stop this, or it will get all fruity. I can't back that up with articles, links or any other evidence...I might have actually read it in the news of the world...but I still like to think about how true it could be... anyone here have any experience in shaggin like bunnies for the first few weeks after the big move? |

Movng to another country is a very emotional issue...I read somewhere that couples that move to start a life in a new country, invariably shag like bunnies for at least a few weeks after the move...something to do with clinging to familiarity wherever possible...(and other psychological tosh)...
