The Manhattan in Newstead seems to be a favourite with Be'rs. We stayed there when we first arrived for about 6 weeks, and loads of others have too. Very nice apartments, and 'almost' walkable to the CBD (but really get a bus!)

But in the meantime, in the last 5 years we've seen quite few posts of people who've stayed there, so if they have shut down it must have been quite recently.:confused:
