Default Aboriginals and citizenship

Just seen this report via Twitter and wondered if this was a real thing, seems to be a case of Windrush taken to it's extreme, the Aborigines were there BEFORE the white man came.

This law, which is the real story here, should be enforced without prejudice regardless of colour. We have BLM marches on one hand then people asking for special treatment with the other.

In regard to that law, there have been plenty of people sent to countries where they have no association, regardless of their colour. A poorly designed law targeting the laziness of those who haven't "gotten round" to getting citizenship is a bit crazy in my view.

Every child born outside Australia to Australian parents needs to be registered before they can become Australian citizens.

On the broader point if you don’t bother sorting out your citizenship before doing serious jail time then you only have yourself to blame when you are subsequently deported as a foreign offender. Your ethnicity is, and should be, irrelevant.
