I loathe rego!

I like them all as its representative of Australian culture. It's the bastardisation of the English language as spoken in the UK that got my goat.

I think what is really needed in the "Australian Citizenship Test" is the following question:

I've taken to abbreviating "Lamington National Park" to "Lamo".
I've heard "preso" for "presentation".
Some place name abbreviations are useful; it is much easier to say "indro" than "indooroopilly" for example.

I laugh at some of the things my cockney mates say here

But not as much as they laugh at my Wenglish!!!
I even brought a book of 'Wenglish' translations from Wales with me!!
Isnt this part of the beauty of being different...
