Aaargh, first carols of the season ...
....is this a record? DJs in Canberra had carols and Christmas songs blasting out this afternoon. When I looked at the sales lady and said "you've got to be joking!" she looked rather taken aback - nearly 4 months of it!

Reality hits home that i know that I better get my arse in gear at some stage and start getting presents etc to go back to Blighty .... *sighs* Wonder if I should just do a money transfer?!

Yes,went into town today and low and behold,Thorntons (choc shop)were in the middle of arranging Xmas decorations to sell?????Got to admit I did start my xmas shopping yesterday,a first for me because usually I do it 2 days before xmas!
