That's my in-laws neck of the woods...my wife went to school with one of the deceased. My MIL told me that in one class in the local school, 2 kids have lost fathers and one a brother, and one of the kids that lost Dad already lost Mum a few years ago.
In a community like the West Coast which is not only small but very isolated from the rest of the country everyone will know someone touched by this.

Read it in the paper at Maccas yesterday and as a claustrophobic, I can only imagine what the families are going through.
