Thanks guys...
Unfortunately... In the meantime I'm back to working night shifts at our local general hospital until the papaerwork get sorted...
So guess who is going to be up all night on medical ward tonight
And whose social life is going to be shot to pieces AGAIN
Having said that... The end is in sight... Or is that the beginning?
They actually dont OPEN the office til 0800 and they physically close it at 6pm... And it REALLY is monday - friday...
So NO call outs, NO phone calls at 0500 telling me some one's off sick and what should they do about it, no saturday arvo calls to recannulate, no double shifts to cover staffing shortages or sickness, no having to ask the boss nicely to cover the weekend so i can make arrangements even tho I dont get paid to be on call... Huge reduction in stress levels and a LIFE
Just got to take all the nights offered between now and when I start to make sure the mortgage gets paid....
Come on new CEO!!! SIGN THE FORMS WILL YER? I realise that being 2 days into a new post MY job forms wont be the highest priority the CEO has... But hopefully it will be done BEFORE Christmas... So I can start asap....

just got another job offer...But I think I'm sticking with the 6 month contract....
Tho I dont know... Full time permanant versus a six month full time contract....
Buggerit... Just wanted A job ... Now I've got to make a decision ...
It should be a no brainer, I should take the full time permanant... But I want to do the 6 month job, its more interesting.... And its a foot in the door of an area/team thats hard to get into.... And more autonomous and less "heavy"
I'd have a desk... At least a shared desk... I like desks... I'm a filophile.. So I like thumb tacks and staplers and highlighters and pens and paperwork... I also like driving and going out and meeting people...
Why couldnt life have just stayed simple?????

Well, if you really want the 6 month job it allows you to reject the other one gently on the basis "sorry, I now have a new job".
On the other hand it also gives you ammunition to first chase up the 6 month contract signing.
