If you have access to a car.... Serpentine Dam is pretty... The Pinnacles... Kings park (duh!) ... Fremantle ...and the markets... A visit to the prison always goes down well.... Rottnest for a day trip..flying over in a little plane is good.. Have lunch, bus round the island then back to jandakot... Not STOOPIDLY expensive.. Don't bother with wave rock..it's a long haul ... Kalamunda in the hills is nice... But the best thing to see when visiting perth is ME

All good tips from Edie. I wouldn't bother with pinnacles though.
Freo is a must. CBD Perth gets a bit dead but subiaco and mount lawley are good for eating out and drinkies.

Done it, had plenty of plans made for us, so only had a couple of trips out on our own. Stayed in Butler, which was ok, and we did get pissed with a couple of spurs fans. Mandurah really floated my boat, out of my mates back door and straight onto the water. Hilaries was nice, bought a pair of oxe blood red DM's there. Freeo still lovely, specially the brewery, great beaches throughout. Did have a splendid time catching up with some close friends Won't be leaving my beloved Illawara though
